Canning Chemist Ltd

We are a independent community pharmacy based in the heart of Nottingham city. We have two branches in the city centre and we are able to take 2 pre-registration trainees at our branches in Nottingham for 2021/2022 starting August 2021. We provide various services to our diverse demographic of patients that will be beneficial for the learning of our pre-registration pharmacists. We have been training students for many years and we also offer Tier 2 sponsorship if required.

We offer training and experience in a variety of core services i.e. dispensing, blood pressure and diabetes monitoring, EHC, flu vaccinations, NMS and MUR, minor ailments and antibiotic treatments etc. As we are located in accessible locations in the city centre, trainees will get sufficient patient interactions, clinical checking, over-the-counter consultations and sales as well as methadone supervision. Trainees will also get the chance to learn the daily process of running a pharmacy as well as develop the skills and confidence to become a qualified pharmacist.

Our employment consists of:

1. A 52 week full time contract
2. 37.5 hours a week
3. Competitive salary
4. 2.5 hours study time every week

Required Qualification: Successful completion of MPharm Degree
